The shell is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and the structure is optimized by CNC processing. The lightweight goal of 1.35kg is achieved in a compact size of 46×128.2mm:
- Topological optimization weight reduction: redundant materials are removed through finite element analysis, and the weight is reduced by 25%;
- Thin-wall strengthening process: the wall thickness of the key load-bearing area is 2.5mm, and the compressive strength reaches 300MPa after heat treatment, which can withstand the expansion stress during battery charging and discharging.
Long-lasting protective coating
The surface is treated with hard chrome plating, with a coating thickness of 15-20μm and a hardness of HV 800-1000. It has wear resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, which can effectively resist electrolyte leakage or erosion in a humid environment and extend the service life of the battery pack.
Manufacturing process: Multiple processes work together to create high reliability
From blanks to finished products, the manufacturing of battery shells covers three core processes:
- Lathe processing: Use carbide tools to complete the rough processing of the substrate to ensure dimensional consistency;
- CNC milling: Fine milling of sealing surfaces and heat dissipation fins, with a surface roughness of Ra 0.8μm, to improve heat dissipation efficiency;
- Fixer manual trimming: Remove microscopic burrs to ensure that the assembly surface has no scratches or defects
